TKD and Parkour
Aug. 16th, 2008 10:22 pmDidn't get to meet with the instructor, she had some family emergencies come up. Here's hoping for next week.
As a side note, I've finally found something that is interesting as a complement to martial arts:
Parkour. It seems to be a fairly male dominated art, which is a bother, but there are women tracers (or traceurs .. I'm going to stick with the american spelling kThxBai) I've never let things like that stop me before. More concerning to me is time. It requires that you are in absolutely incredible shape, which would be good for TKD as well, and also a bunch of time to practice to build the skills required to not break your neck.
We'll see. Hopefully I can figure out how to do it without bulking up... that would be .. BAD.
