I don't care if there is some attempt at a redeeming message in the show. I don't care if it is criticizing the culture it is portraying. This image is wrong and hurtful, especially as it is presented not as a critique, but as a draw from the front page of youtube.

Bikini girl

Really.

Making out with Seacrest in front of 3-4 cameras as he pretends to be supprised, being asked to bounce (again), spin in place, multi-camera flybys, etc etc etc etc.
It was like they were doing an exercise to see how many forms of misogyny they could pack into a 6 minute segment without being pulled off the air. Oh wait, that was the man show. FEH.

Yes she had a halfway decent voice. She might even make it to the final rounds if enough other people fuck up. Is it surprising that the producers made the choice to feature a bikini clad contestant? Hell no. Did they have to focus an entire segment on her? Absolutely not.

Meh. Meh.
